Delete your Car Collector Studio account

Delete it yourself in the app (fastest)

Deleting from the Car Collector Studio mobile app happens immediately.

1. Open the Car Collector Studio app and sign in.
2. Tap Menu (the button at the top right of the main screens).
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
4. Read the summary, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Permanently delete my account.

Your account and data are removed straight away and you are signed out. This cannot be undone.

Cannot use the app? Request deletion by email

Email us from the address you use to sign in to Car Collector Studio, with the subject “Delete my Car Collector Studio account”. We may ask you to confirm a detail about the account so that nobody else can delete it for you. We will delete the account and reply to confirm within 30 days of verifying your request.

What is deleted

• Your login, profile and sign-in details.
• All of your vehicles and everything recorded against them: service, insurance, road tax and mechanical records, expenses, valuations and value history, logbook entries, reminders and generated reports.
• All photographs, documents, invoices and other files you uploaded, including archived earlier versions.
• Your push-notification device registrations and any team invitations you sent.
• Your team's access to your fleet.
• Your paid subscription, if you have one, is cancelled so that nothing further is charged.

What is kept, and why

• Billing and invoice records for any payments you made, kept by us and by our payment processor, Stripe, for the period tax and accounting law requires.
• Routine backups. Copies of deleted data in our backups are removed as those backups expire, normally within 35 days. They are not used for anything else in the meantime.

If you were invited to someone else's fleet

If you are a team member rather than the owner, deleting your account removes only your own login and your access. The owner's account and data are not affected, and records you entered on the fleet remain with the fleet owner. If you are an owner, the people you invited keep their own logins but lose access to your fleet.

Want to remove only some of your data?

You do not need to delete your whole account to remove individual vehicles, records, photographs or documents. You can delete those at any time inside the app or on the website.
